A plain-language summary of the limited website analytics and performance measurement used on Danial's Tech Hub.

What is collected

Page views and site performance

The public production website uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are useful. Vercel may process the page path, timestamp, referrer, general location, browser, operating system, and device type to produce aggregated reports.

Search terms, filters, and Start Here answers are removed from the page URL before an analytics event is sent. The site does not currently send custom click, search, contact, or service events.

The site also uses Vercel Speed Insights to measure anonymous real-world performance. Its reports may include the public route, network speed, browser, device type, operating system, country, Web Vital measurement, and the page element associated with that measurement. Query strings, fragments, and administrator paths are excluded before performance data is sent.

How it works

No visitor profiles

Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. Vercel describes its analytics data as anonymized and uses a daily-changing hash to estimate visitors without following someone across different days or websites.

Vercel describes Speed Insights data as anonymous and not tied to an identifiable visitor, IP address, or reconstructed browsing session.

Questions or concerns

Analytics reports are available only through the website's Vercel project access, and retention follows the project's Vercel plan and provider policy. Browser privacy tools and content blockers may prevent analytics requests.
